Prin was practically raised on the ice, and managed to reach the golden heights her mother had only dreamed of. Prin's own dreams were not to be realized; instead of retiring from main competitions, Prin was pressured by her mother to continue her training and seek perhaps another Olympic medal: the only one that mattered to Tatiana. Prin loved skating almost as much as her mother did, so she reluctantly went along with Tatiana's plans.
When Prin discovered her ability to turn into a swan-maiden, she was at once both elated and terrified. Her skating career would not only be ruined for the future, but all her past triumphs as well would be cast into suspicion.

Background
Prin Swan was the only daughter of champion ice skater Tatiana Spadko and her husband Brian Swan, a wealthy businessman from Newport. Tatiana had sought the Olympic gold medal, but failed to reach her goal.
