Solo Stories and Lines of Experience

Each participant in the campaign has two PCs, one from River City and one from Newport. During a single session, though, each player is likely to play only one PC. There are at least three people who will be GMing at various times rather than playing PCs. In the normal course of things, PCs who get played in a session get lines of experience, and those who don't appear don't. That could lead to imbalances from player to player and PC to PC. Hence, solo issues.

During any session in which you don't play a particular PC, you may write up the story of what that hero was doing that issue instead of hanging out with the Aegis. Provided the story is sufficiently long, detailed and interesting, it will earn the subject PC as many lines of experience as the regular session did. You can't put a hero ahead of where he would have been if you had played him or her in every session. (Feel free to write "extra" stories, but they won't earn you any lines.)
