Earth - the Element of Being
Earth is the element of resistance and integrity. It governs healing, resistance to both physical and mystical attack, imperviousness to poison, intimidation, and invasive and transformative influences generally. Its associated senses are taste and balance.
Among Oberon's children, Corwin is the examplar of Earth qualities. He takes punishment. He is tireless. He withstands the Black Road better than any of his siblings. He regenerates. Only Oberon would seem to be his better in this element. It would not be giving away any secrets to suggest that Corwin's Earth score is most likely 9, and Oberon's 10. Stolid, implacable Gerard would seem to be the runner-up in the Earth sweepstakes among Corwin's siblings.
